Guarantee Policy
All reservations require a guarantee or deposit in lieu. Methods accepted as a guarantee include: credit card, deposit, pre-approved travel agent, or pre-approved company. Guaranteed reservations are held until 12 am midnight on the scheduled arrival day.
Deposit Policy
A deposit may serve as a method of guarantee. The following deposit methods are accepted: wire transfer, gift voucher or in cash. Deposits are non-refundable.
Payment
Payments to Hotel Serwir are to be made on the date(s) and in the amounts to be calculated as specified at the time of booking or outlined in the contracts. If any services under the contract are varied before arrival, then the payment made will reflect the latest details contained in the written details of Hotel Serwir. Any additional charges due to Hotel Serwir for services provided shall be paid by the Client on presentation of an invoice. For room reservations made using the advance purchase rate, full payment will be taken at the time of booking. This payment is not refundable in the event of any amendment or cancellation. Cash payment is not accepted for walk-in guests – a valid credit or debit card must be swiped through the chip-and-pin machine and adequate authorisation taken. All walk-in and same-day booking guests must provide photographic identification on arrival, regardless of their nationality.
Debit delay
Please note that the transaction amount will be charged directly to your credit card at the time of the transaction.
Cancellation and “No Show” Policy
Any room cancellations must be made by 3 pm local time, the day before the scheduled arrival, to avoid a penalty of one night’s room charge. For groups of 6 or more rooms, different cancellation policies may apply, as described in the Group Contract.
Price Adjustments – External Cost Factors
Our prices are based on the current cost structure and applicable legal provisions. Should significant changes occur between the date of reservation and the date of the stay in external factors beyond our control— including, but not limited to, changes in VAT rates or other government levies, exceptional increases in wages, energy, raw materials, food costs, import duties or excise taxes—the hotel reserves the right to adjust the agreed prices proportionally.
Group Policy
For reservations requiring 6 rooms or more, please contact our Group Inquiry Department (groups@serwir.be) at the hotel.
Room Availability
Specific rooms cannot be guaranteed. Reserved rooms are available to the guest from 3 pm on the arrival date. Rooms must be vacated no later than 11 am on the day of departure. Additional charges will be applied to the guest account for later departures. The hotel may charge 50% of the full published rate for further use of the room until 6 pm, and 100% of the full published rate if used after 6 pm.
Pet and Guide Dog Policy
Animals are not accepted unless assisting guests with disabilities, in which case the animals are accommodated free of charge.
Extra Beds
Extra rollaway beds are available at €20 per night, including VAT. Baby cots for children up to 2 years old are available at €10 per night, including VAT.
Meal Plan
All rates are on a Room Only basis unless otherwise stated.
CCTV
In the public areas of Hotel Serwir and some staff areas, CCTV is in operation, and video recordings may be made. This activity is carried out for security and service reasons for the better management of Hotel Serwir and security for all its Clients and staff. For further information regarding the hotel’s CCTV application should be made to the General Manager.

Hotel Serwir does not warrant the accuracy, currency or completeness of the contents, including, without limitation, any information relating to prices or availability. Hotel Serwir will from time to time revise the Contents and/or the products, services and resources described therein and reserves the right to make such changes without any obligation to notify past, current or prospective visitors of this website.
Best Rate Guarantee
It is important to us that the rates we offer directly to our guests are the best possible rates available anywhere. Make your reservation directly with Hotel Serwir for the best rate, guaranteed. If, within 24 hours of making your reservation, you find a lower publicly available rate anywhere else online, we will be more than happy to match this lower rate.
Terms and Conditions
For our Best Rate Guarantee to be valid, it must satisfy all of the terms and conditions listed below:
- Reservation must be made directly with Hotel Serwir before making the claim, either via Hotel Serwir's website or directly with our reservations team.
- The Best Rate Guarantee is applicable against bookable rates for the same length of stay, dates of reservation, room category, number of persons, currency and reservation conditions.
- A claim must be submitted within 24 hours after making the direct reservation with Hotel Serwir and at least 48 hours before the scheduled arrival.
- Hotel Serwir's reservation department will investigate and inform you of our decision within 24 working* hours of having received your claim. *Claims will be processed from Monday to Friday, between 8 am and 8 pm
- Hotel Serwir Best Rate Guarantee does not apply to:
- Hotel packages or travel packages bundles with flights, car hire, tours, etc.
- Discounted rates not available to the general public, e.g. negotiated rates, closed user group offers
- Taxes, gratuities, service charges or other fees and incidental charges - To proceed with the claim, please send us all the following information via email to info@serwir.be
- Guest name
- Reservation Confirmation Number
- Arrival and Departure dates
- Website address where you found the lower rate, or details of the travel professional’s quotation
- If possible, a screen grab or print screen of where the lower rate is found
Insurances
The Hotel has no responsibility for items stored within the Hotel property. The Hotel will, however, take responsibility if damage or loss of any item is caused through negligence by the Hotel. The guest is responsible for reporting any damage to the Hotel property.
Force majeure
Strike, lockout, fire, delivery restrictions or other circumstances that are beyond the Hotel's responsible control entitle the Hotel to cancel the reservation without reimbursement. The Hotel also reserves the right to adjust the price for taxes/fees, which are beyond the control of the Hotel.
Hotel Serwir reserves the right to modify or cancel this offer and the terms and conditions at any time in its sole discretion.
